According to the provisions of the transition period of electronic cigarette supervision, October 1st this year will be the date when the “Mandatory National Standards for Electronic Cigarettes” will take full effect and the supervision of electronic cigarettes will be fully implemented. At that time, all fruit-flavored electronic cigarettes will be removed from the shelves, and China will unify electronic cigarette transactions. The management platform only provides national standard tobacco-flavored electronic cigarettes and smoking sets with child locks.
According to industry insiders, the main purpose of the national standard supervision of e-cigarettes is to reduce the “inductiveness” of products and focus on strengthening the protection of minors. This will be a new starting point for the standardized development of the electronic cigarette industry. At present, there are 37 e-cigarette brands in China, and at least 80 products have been approved and approved for listing.
